Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Menjou en gros. by Umbo was auctioned at Grisebach in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Das neueste Angebot en profil in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 32,900.00 (€ 38,769.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Menjou en gros. von Umbo kam im Mai 2018 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Das neueste Angebot en profil im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.900,00 (€ 38.769,74).
