Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Umberto Brunelleschi could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Lady with Pierrot; and a companion print changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 453.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umberto Brunelleschi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-portrait with a puppet and a mask in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 38,546.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Umberto Brunelleschi konnte im Februar 2011 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Lady with Pierrot; and a companion print für USD 625,00 (€ 453,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umberto Brunelleschi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-portrait with a puppet and a mask im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 38.546,43).
