Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ulvi Liegi could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Marina changed hands for EUR 6,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ulvi Liegi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barga, Porta Macchiaja, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 24,500,000.00 (€ 22,020.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulvi Liegi konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Marina für EUR 6.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ulvi Liegi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barga, Porta Macchiaja beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 24.500.000,00 (€ 22.020,00) versteigert wurde.
