Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work In piazza San Marco, Venezia by Ulvi Liegi was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ulvi Liegi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barga, Porta Macchiaja in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 24,500,000.00 (€ 22,020.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit In piazza San Marco, Venezia von Ulvi Liegi im Juni 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ulvi Liegi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barga, Porta Macchiaja im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 24.500.000,00 (€ 22.020,00).
