The work A street scene by Ulvi Liegi was sold in the Impressionist and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in June 2000. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,842.55), 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ulvi Liegi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barga, Porta Macchiaja in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 24,500,000.00 (€ 22,020.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit A street scene von Ulvi Liegi wurde im Juni 2000 in der Auktion Impressionist and 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.842,55) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulvi Liegi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barga, Porta Macchiaja im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 24.500.000,00 (€ 22.020,00).
