Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ulrik Samuelson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Pudelns kärna" changed hands for SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,441.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ulrik Samuelson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 160,000.00 (€ 17,228.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulrik Samuelson konnte im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Pudelns kärna" für SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.441,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulrik Samuelson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 17.228,56).
