Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Gathering by Ulala Imai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,178.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ulala Imai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Weary Traveler in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,197,000.00 (€ 154,940.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gathering von Ulala Imai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.178,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulala Imai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Weary Traveler im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.197.000,00 (€ 154.940,48).
