The work KIWI by Ulala Imai was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 254,000.00 (€ 30,716.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69%. Admittedly, works by Ulala Imai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Weary Traveler in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,197,000.00 (€ 154,940.48).

Die Arbeit KIWI von Ulala Imai kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 254.000,00 (€ 30.716,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulala Imai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Weary Traveler im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.197.000,00 (€ 154.940,48).
