Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saint Peter preaching the Gospel by Ugo da Carpi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,254.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo da Carpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Der Tod des Ananias., which sold at auction in April 2016 for EUR 3,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Saint Peter preaching the Gospel von Ugo da Carpi kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.254,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo da Carpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Der Tod des Ananias. beobachtet, die im April 2016 für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert wurde.
