Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Ugo Celada da Virgilio was worth EUR 9,500.00 to a buyer in May this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ugo Celada da Virgilio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza titolo sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 10,080.00.

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Ugo Celada da Virgilio war einem Käufer im Mai diesen Jahres EUR 9.500,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ugo Celada da Virgilio; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 10.080,00.
