In June this year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Composizione con cacciagione by Ugo Celada da Virgilio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo Celada da Virgilio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Senza titolo, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 10,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione con cacciagione von Ugo Celada da Virgilio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo Celada da Virgilio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Senza titolo beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 10.080,00 versteigert wurde.
