This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ugo Celada da Virgilio; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza titolo sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 10,080.00.
