Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by Ugo Celada da Virgilio. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ugo Celada da Virgilio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza titolo in June this year with an auction result of EUR 10,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Ugo Celada da Virgilio zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Celada da Virgilio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.080,00.
