Upper estimate price exceeded by 29 %.
In November 2004 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Sera A Venas by Ubaldo Oppi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 31,000.00 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ubaldo Oppi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giovani donne al mare in April 2019 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sera A Venas von Ubaldo Oppi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 31.000,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ubaldo Oppi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Giovani donne al mare im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
