The work Mutants of the SVMS - Postbox Man (Street Vendors Mimetic Scheme) by Tushar Joag was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 8,747.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mutants of the SVMS - Postbox Man (Street Vendors Mimetic Scheme) is the most expensive artwork by Tushar Joag that we have observed at auctions so far.
