Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Justice League King Kong by Tushar Joag was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 4,218.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tushar Joag - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mutants of the SVMS - Postbox Man (Street Vendors Mimetic Scheme), which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 8,747.19).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 4.218,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tushar Joag mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mutants of the SVMS - Postbox Man (Street Vendors Mimetic Scheme) beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 8.747,19) versteigert wurde.
