Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tu Zhuo could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Landscape changed hands for HKD 8,820.00 (€ 1,047.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Zhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hermit Fisherman In The Xie Stream: Painting Number Two in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,422.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tu Zhuo konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 8.820,00 (€ 1.047,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Zhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hermit Fisherman In The Xie Stream: Painting Number Two im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.422,32).
