The work A group of two triptychs by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi was sold in the Arts of Asia Online auction at Christies in New York in March this year. It achieved a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,374.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tsuki junidai (Twelve aspects of the moon) in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 169,491.53).
