A top price for Tsubaki Chinzan
In March 2003 Christies in New York held the auction JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART, which included the work Rooster and praying mantis by Tsubaki Chinzan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,736.00 (€ 5,262.39), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, Rooster and praying mantis is even the most expensive work of art by Tsubaki Chinzan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Tsubaki Chinzan
Im März 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rooster and praying mantis von Tsubaki Chinzan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.736,00 (€ 5.262,39) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Rooster and praying mantis sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tsubaki Chinzan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
