The work Goldfish by Truong Van Thanh was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,382.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Truong Van Thanh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goldfish in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,920.10).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Goldfish von Truong Van Thanh kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.382,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Truong Van Thanh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goldfish im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.920,10).
