Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu, which included the work A lacquer coffee table with a lacquer table-top panel decorated with fish by Truong Van Thanh. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,854.43). Admittedly, works by Truong Van Thanh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goldfish in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,920.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lacquer coffee table with a lacquer table-top panel decorated with fish von Truong Van Thanh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.854,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Truong Van Thanh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goldfish im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.920,10).
