Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work On The Scent by Tristan Lacroix. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,157.50 (€ 8,063.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tristan Lacroix have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Pink, Red and Yellow Roses in a ceramic Jug in an Interior was auctioned for USD 9,560.00 (€ 9,699.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit On The Scent von Tristan Lacroix zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.157,50 (€ 8.063,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Tristan Lacroix konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Pink, Red and Yellow Roses in a ceramic Jug in an Interior für USD 9.560,00 (€ 9.699,68) versteigert.
