Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Trenton Doyle Hancock achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2018. In the Contemporary Portfolio auction, the work FIX sold for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,318.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Trenton Doyle Hancock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cult of Color Salad in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,678.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Trenton Doyle Hancock erzielte im März 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Portfolio wurde die Arbeit FIX für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.318,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Trenton Doyle Hancock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cult of Color Salad im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.678,81).
