In March 2010 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION, which included the work American All-N-All by Toxic. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,500.00 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toxic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Return of the money snatchers part 5, which sold at auction in September last year for EUR 27,720.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion THE BAT ARTVENTURE COLLECTION formerly known as THE PETER STUYVESANT COLLECTION durch, in der auch die Arbeit American All-N-All von Toxic zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Toxic mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Return of the money snatchers part 5 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert wurde.
