Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self - 2007 by Toxic was auctioned at Artcurial in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toxic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Return of the money snatchers part 5, which sold at auction in September last year for EUR 27,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self - 2007 von Toxic kam im Oktober 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Toxic mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Return of the money snatchers part 5 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert wurde.
