Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction The Writing’s on the Wall, which included the work #217 - 2006 by Toxic. The price achieved of EUR 9,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toxic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Return of the money snatchers part 5, which sold at auction in September last year for EUR 27,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion The Writing’s on the Wall durch, in der auch die Arbeit #217 - 2006 von Toxic zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Toxic mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Return of the money snatchers part 5 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert wurde.
