Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Unknown by Torii Kiyomasu II was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,400.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Torii Kiyomasu II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Edo Period (1615-1868), 1720S-1730S in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 37,575.00 (€ 33,465.44).
