Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Spring in Copenhagen by Tor Bjurström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,587.71). Admittedly, works by Tor Bjurström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motif from Skärhamn in May this year with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 15,940.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Spring in Copenhagen von Tor Bjurström im Oktober 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.587,71) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tor Bjurström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motif from Skärhamn im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 15.940,49).
