Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tomoko Shioyasu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2021. In the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction, the work Fossil sold for HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,544.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomoko Shioyasu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Throbbing Pulse in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 83,788.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomoko Shioyasu erzielte im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Fossil für HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.544,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomoko Shioyasu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Throbbing Pulse im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 83.788,75).
