A top price for Tomoko Shioyasu
This artwork by Tomoko Shioyasu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Throbbing Pulse sold for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 83,788.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Throbbing Pulse the most expensive artwork by Tomoko Shioyasu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomoko Shioyasu erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Throbbing Pulse für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 83.788,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Throbbing Pulse zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Tomoko Shioyasu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
