Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Tommy Hilding was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,615.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tommy Hilding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Reflex", which sold at auction in May 2017 for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,639.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tommy Hilding im Mai 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.615,18) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tommy Hilding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Reflex" beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.639,02) versteigert wurde.
