In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Living with Design: The Collections of Walter Lees and Mr NC., which included the work A design for a wall decoration in Ancient Roman style, with a central scene of Adonis discovering the sleeping Venus, flanked by panels with putti, griffins and winged horses by Tommaso Bigatti. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,520.89).
