Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tomas Rajlich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2019. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work without title sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,081.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomas Rajlich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 40,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomas Rajlich erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.081,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomas Rajlich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 40.320,00 versteigert wurde.
