Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Catalpa, 2014 by Tom Fels. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,524.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Tom Fels have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Arbor 8-10-14 — Nos. 3 & 4 (Buckthorn), 2014 was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,832.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Catalpa, 2014 von Tom Fels zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.524,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Tom Fels konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Arbor 8-10-14 — Nos. 3 & 4 (Buckthorn), 2014 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.832,39) versteigert.
