This artwork by Tom Dixon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the The Hoarder: Part III auction, the work Micro Factory Chair (Black) sold for GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,855.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Dixon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cu29 Chair, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tom Dixon erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III wurde die Arbeit Micro Factory Chair (Black) für GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.855,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Dixon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cu29 Chair beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.581,56) versteigert wurde.
