Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Plane” by Tom Dixon for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.24). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Dixon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cu29 Chair in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Plane” von Tom Dixon für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Dixon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cu29 Chair im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.581,56).
