Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Shot by Tom Burr for GBP 1,651.00 (€ 1,881.60). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in 12 - and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Burr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Night Before Last in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,079.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shot von Tom Burr für GBP 1.651,00 (€ 1.881,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in 12 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Burr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Night Before Last im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.079,69).
