Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Salmon by Tokuriki Tomikichirō was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2005. The price achieved of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,387.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tokuriki Tomikichirō - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven woodblock prints, which sold at auction in May 2021 for GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,225.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Salmon von Tokuriki Tomikichirō kam im März 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.387,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tokuriki Tomikichirō mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven woodblock prints beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.225,29) versteigert wurde.
