Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Toko Shinoda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2012. In the The Japanese Aesthetic auction, the work Sound sold for GBP 937.50 (€ 1,154.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toko Shinoda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sound (Oto) in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,337.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Toko Shinoda erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Japanese Aesthetic wurde die Arbeit Sound für GBP 937,50 (€ 1.154,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toko Shinoda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sound (Oto) im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.337,77).
