Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Autumn by Toko Shinoda. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 25,570.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toko Shinoda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sound (Oto), which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,337.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn von Toko Shinoda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 25.570,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Toko Shinoda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sound (Oto) beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.337,77) versteigert wurde.
