Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning 11 1/2 x 15 1/4 in. (29.2 x 38.7 cm) framed 12 1/4 x 16 x 1 in. by Toko Shinoda was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 5,355.00 (€ 4,925.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toko Shinoda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sound (Oto) in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,337.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Morning 11 1/2 x 15 1/4 in. (29.2 x 38.7 cm) framed 12 1/4 x 16 x 1 in. von Toko Shinoda kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 4.925,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toko Shinoda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sound (Oto) im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.337,77).
