In September 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included this untitled work by Toko Shinoda. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,334.70), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toko Shinoda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sound (Oto), which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,337.77).

Im September 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Toko Shinoda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.334,70) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Toko Shinoda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sound (Oto) beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.337,77) versteigert wurde.
