Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by T'Ing Yin-Yung achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work The Victorious General (Painted In 1973) sold for HKD 624,000.00 (€ 637,226.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by T'Ing Yin-Yung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 1,680,000.00 (€ 1,715,608.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von T'Ing Yin-Yung erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit The Victorious General (Painted In 1973) für HKD 624.000,00 (€ 637.226,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von T'Ing Yin-Yung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers In A Jar (Painted In 1971) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 1.680.000,00 (€ 1.715.608,70) versteigert wurde.
