Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Timo Solin could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderna auction, the work Standing woman changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,984.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Timo Solin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "På väg i solen". in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 25,416.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Timo Solin konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderna wechselte die Arbeit Standing woman für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.984,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Timo Solin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "På väg i solen". im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 25.416,81).
