Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glance 5 by Timo Nasseri was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,697.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 28,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Timo Nasseri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Epistrophy Mt1, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 134,500.00 (€ 103,796.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glance 5 von Timo Nasseri wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.697,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 28.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Timo Nasseri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Epistrophy Mt1 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für USD 134.500,00 (€ 103.796,88) versteigert wurde.
