Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Jonas Kesseler And Lily Donaldson In Blue Spitfire, Glemham Hall, Suffolk', 2009 by Tim Walker was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,742.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Walker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Xiao Wen Ju, Frida Gustavsson, Anaïs Pouliot & Fei Fei Sun, Comme des Garçons ‘White Drama’ Collection, London, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77).
