Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White And Black Gibbons by Tian Shiguang was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,448.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tian Shiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peacock By Spring Blossoms in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 138,731.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White And Black Gibbons von Tian Shiguang wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.448,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tian Shiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 138.731,66).
