Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Partridge and Bamboo by Tian Shiguang was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,400.00 (€ 5,860.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tian Shiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peacock By Spring Blossoms in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 138,731.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Partridge and Bamboo von Tian Shiguang kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.400,00 (€ 5.860,81) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tian Shiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 138.731,66).
