A top price for Tian Shiguang
The work Peacock By Spring Blossoms by Tian Shiguang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 138,731.66), 32% above the upper estimate. With this result, Peacock By Spring Blossoms is even the most expensive work of art by Tian Shiguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
