Upper estimate price exceeded by 60 %.
The work Young Girl Picking by Tian Liming was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 96,000.00 (€ 98,034.78), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tian Liming; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sunshine Series sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of CNY 1,416,000.00 (€ 169,767.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Young Girl Picking von Tian Liming wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 98.034,78) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tian Liming; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sunshine Series im Dezember 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von CNY 1.416.000,00 (€ 169.767,91).
